Hi. Actually, the most recent release is version 5.31. it can be gotten from
http://download.nullsoft.com/winamp/client/winamp531_full.exe
Here's the scoop about Winamp and JAWS. To date, all of the versions
in the 5.x series work just fine, accept for the newer versions of
the media library. But that may change in the future. For now, you
can download some scripts from the jfw lite home page at
http://jfwlite.com/programs that wwill help.
But don't worry about upgrading. 9 times out of 10, the new version
hasn't had any significant changes to the actual look or interface,
all the changes usually happen inside the actual program, so there's
no need to worry.

Hi Folks,
I am in a bind for an mp-3 player and I was told that "Winamp" would fill
my needs quite nicely.
The bad news is I know virtually nothing about "Winamp." I did read through
the JFW help for "Winamp" and found out their support ended several
versions back at: "Winamp 5.0."
Does the newest version of WA work with JFW 7.1 and if not where can I get
my hands on an older copy. I need to be up and running with the software no
later than 5:PM MST Friday 29, SEPT.
