Someone wrote off-list to inquire how to enable Webvisum, so this may be helpful to others.

1. While in FF (Firefox), press alt-t, then o for options.

2. You should land on the "main menu." If not, press m or the up and down arrow keys until you do.

3. Press shift-tab until you hear "add-ons" or "manage add-ons." ON my system, I count four presses of this keystroke combination till I get there.

4. Press enter or the spacebar on this button.

5. JAWS lands me right away on the Webvisum add-on. If that doesn't happen for you, arrow up and down to see if Webvisum is in that list.

Failing that, tab to another list box in which one of the choices is "Extensions." FF deems Webvisum to be an extension, a kind of subcategory of add-on. "Extensions" is second down on this list. Press enter and tab once to the extensions list, which will include Webvisum.

6. Once JAWS lands on Webvisum, tab to your various choices. The first press of tab should take you to "enable" or "disable," depending on Webvisum's current status.

The keystroke to invoke the capture is control-alt-6. This isn't the numpad 6, but the one above the letter keys.

As I recall, you don't need to place focus over the security edit box.

If this keystroke doesn't work, write back because I can give you directions to ensure Webvisum is activated.

Subject: Webvisum

HI,

I'm trying to use Firefox and Webvisum in order to get through security captchas at m.facebook.com. According to my Tools menu, Webvisumis there and my cursor is on the security edit box. But when I go to the applications menu, I don't hear the Solve Captcha option. What am I doing wrong?
