You might try playing around with the attributes. As you know,
incorporating changes alters the look of the text, and I think a scheme
that notes attributes may help here. Unfortunately, I'd have to do my
homework again on what those changes look like, but, even as bad as
Microsoft help is, it should be able to tell you. Of course, if you
accept the changes, all the trash goes away, but I think you're saying
you need to know what's original and what's not.

I did. Actually, though, what I really wanted JAWS to do was just read
the
newly revised document. It would read the sentence, with the other
person's
changes right in the middle, and it sounded very strange, and definitely
jumbled.

Hello Laura.

Did you open the verbosity list, arrow down to track changes and turn it
on?
Track changes is set to off by default. I believe this is one of the
options that will be saved in a document specific.JSI file.

I hope this helps.

Chris.

Is there someone out there who can walk me through how to do this with
JAWS?
A coworker used track changes and made changes to the document, and JAWS
sort of read it all jumbled. I had trouble figuring out how the
document
should read. And how do I accept those changes, if I approve them?
What if
I only want to accept certain changes?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Lora
