TaxAct2003 & JAWS5

I downloaded the standard (free) edition of TaxActfor 2003 and it worked
miserably with JAWS. I noticed that JAWS has scripts for 2002, and earlier
versions of taxact (presumably 2002) are still available for download from
taxact's website. Can we use that version this year? Has anyone else had
any luck with taxact 2003?
I'm determined to do my own taxes this year and I'll do them by hand if
necessary, but I'd like to do them on the computer. If tax act is not
available to blind persons, is there another usable (hopefully free or
cheap) tax preparation package out there? One hundred dollars to H&R Block?
I don't think so!
