Hello Andy,

Yes, typically, Skype is not inherently incompatible with other soft phones on
your computer, as it uses proprietary VoIP protocols. Your employer, however,
may have specific policies concerning the use or nonuse of Skype. In such
cases, you should follow those rules.

    Hello Andy,

Skype is not compatible with the soft phones used in business environments.
Contact your employer's IT or PBX departments, ask them for the manufacturer
and model numbers of your PBX system then contact the IP Blue and Tenacity
folks to see if they are compatible.

I am not sure witch one I have. When I downloaded a program, this came
with it. I did not know that this came with it until I saw it on my computer.
With Soft Phone, I can call computer to computer or computer to land line. Can
I do the same with Skype?

        Hello Andy,

There are a number of these "soft phone" implementations on the market.
Which one are you asking about specifically? There's an accessible solution
that works with Cisco call managers. Check out:

        http://www.ipblue.com

There's another, newer, solution that is accessible for a number of
other PBX systems:

        http://www.tenacitycorp.com

Both solutions are known to be accessible.

Does anyone know any thing about Soft Phone? How well does it work,
and how well does it work with Jaws?
