Dale, you can also map a drive by finding the drive, then hitting the
windows application key and finding map drive in the context menu there.
what this enables you to do, is to have your computer see a drive on another
computer in your network as if it was a drive on your local computer. for
example, I have two computers, named home and office. I map my office c
drive and give it my drive letter h from my home pc. now, when I bring up my
computer on my home pc, I see all the drives on my computer named home, also
the c drive on my computer named office. hope this helps.
