Do you know if it is WinDbg?
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/debugging/default.mspx
This interests me because there is a function in the built-in.jsd that says:
function OutputDebugString
:Synopsis Sends a string to the debugger for display.
:Description Sends a string to the debugger for display. The debugger may be
a utility program such as DBGVIEW.EXE.
:Returns Void
:Param string String to be displayed.
:Category Utility
Wouldn't it be get to be able to debug jaws scripts with more than such
things as SayString, grin.

You know I don't even know if the print screen would work if you had a blue
screen.
But I have sometimes had people do a print screen and save it in Paint so
they could send it to me so I could have Tom look at something. These are
the steps:
Press the print screen key.
Then go to accessories, Paint.
Press control V.
Press control S.
It will default to untitled I think, or you can give it a name.
Enter and then alt f4 to close paint.
Now see what the problem is?
If you don't have speech how do you go through all those steps.
Now you could try creating a hotkey to the paint program.
When you got the blue sceen, press the print screen key.
Press your hotkey for paint.
Press control V.
press control S.
Enter (or type a filename)
Alt f4.
Then when you got speech back find your file. (With speech, do a save and
see what the default folder location is.)
It will be a bmp, then let a sighted person look at it.
That is as I said if the print screen fucntion and all this works after a
blue screen. Of course since it is a bmp (image), jaws won't read it so you
won't know if you captured what you thought you did until someone with eyes
looks at it.

When I have a blue screen crash, I wish I could capture whatever all that
text is on the fatal screen and send it to whoever might be able to help me
avoid a recurrence. From back when I operated my computer with normal
vision, I remember the Printscreen command, whose key is still on the
computer, of course. But is this what you do? Or what? And if so, how do
you do it? If not, what? Instructions will be very appreciated.

Hi,

It does the same thing here. Its a blue screen crash. I will send the dump
to my buddy for analysis but I will bet money it comes back to jawsvid.dll

G'day,

Yup I can most certainly confirm. It goes down in a flaming heap. Both JFW
7.0 and the latest 7.1 public beta exhibit the same symptoms

Cheers.

This page causes my computer to reboot only when Jaws 7.0 or the latest 7.1
beta is running. It works fine with WindowEyes. I wonder if anyone else
can duplicate this.

Moving to the table on the page does it every time with the beta. Also
using the up arrow sometimes reboots my computer.
