basicly you get a save as dialogue where you can specify where to put the file so you can back it up. So it's easy for you to back it up for if you format, etc. HOpe this explains what you want!

In what sense does this result in "saving" the address book? How does "export" come to eequate with "save," in this case? What actually happens, and where is the Address Book saved, and in what form? Are we just talking about the file that the address book is? That would be address book.wab,typed exactly like that, and if you find it, wherever you happen to keep iton your hard drive, you can copy it just like any other folder. Meantime,the Address Book that you know in Outlook or Outlook Express is saved everytime you make any changes to it, and by that I mean the file I just mentioned is updated and saved.
