Hi Nancy and list,

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but this makes no sense to me at all. The Save As option appears in the file menu of Notepad, so I don't see how the Vista operating system can change this, since Notepad is an application itself???

Chris,

The problem is that I'm not finding a save as dialog box.
That's what is confusing me since I always knew where the save as box was in Windows XP.

In Vista, I'm opening a file in Notepad. I go to file menu and arrow down.
I hear it say save but never save as or save in.

I have clicked on the browse folders button but all it does is open the files list.

Any other thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Nancy
