But R.A., if you're using IE7, there's already at least one feed that is subscribed there if you access that list, a Microsoft feed. That's what I found there when I had just installed IE7 and was learning my way around its new capabilities. So I've never had the experience, even in the beginning, of pressing Control J and having nothing come up. and what is this about an FS cast? Why would an FS cast instruct Jaws customers how to do this? I don't want to go listen to it to see. I've spent too many pointless minutes already listening to these marketing relations productions without learning anything from them at all. Not angry, just describing my experience. So can you say why a person would have to listen to an FS cast just to learn how to launch IE 7 and press control J? Thank you very much. ----- Original Message ----- From: "RAWest" <rawest@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, December 17, 2007 11:10 AM Subject: RE: RSS Feeds You have to subscribe to a feed first _____ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Larry Stansifer Sent: Monday, December 17, 2007 1:43 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: RSS Feeds Access the RSS feed -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ron McEwan Sent: Monday, December 17, 2007 10:27 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: RSS Feeds What exactly are you trying to do? _____ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Larry Stansifer Sent: Monday, December 17, 2007 8:19 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RSS Feeds Hi Folks, I am using JFW 8.latest, IE-7 and windows XP-Pro. When I encounter a web site with an RSS feed and I press alt+J all I get is that same doink sound that indicates top and bottom alert or "no window is active." As always, thanks for any assistance you can provide. _____ Teach InfoWest Spam Trap if this mail is spam: Spam <https://spamtrap.infowest.com/canit/b.php?i=145286685&m=0dea5ba6d022&c=s> Not <https://spamtrap.infowest.com/canit/b.php?i=145286685&m=0dea5ba6d022&c=n> spam Forget <https://spamtrap.infowest.com/canit/b.php?i=145286685&m=0dea5ba6d022&c=f> previous vote -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/ Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.com JFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
