Re: Maximizing & Minimizing JFW?

You don't actually maximize JAWS, rather you maximize the programs you
wish read.  One other reason to do so in addition to those mentioned
by others, some of the scripts are written expecting programs to be
maximized and won't find the screen elements they are after if windows
aren't

One way that maximizing windows aids performance is that it keeps
other programs from needing to draw their window contents.  The actual
drawing operations aren't (usually) all that intensive in a
non-maximized situation, but having to switch executing programs to do
so can be a somewhat heavy operation.
