Hi Ralph,
I don't have an answer for your problem, but I think it might help while
trying to figure this out to know that the menu bars of Windows programs
like Word and Outlook Express and so forth don't move. Maybe something else
has moved, or,, and this is more likely, maybe the Jaws focus has been
confused or disrupted by something that's a Jaws issue. But the menu lines
or bars, whatever you wish to call them, aren't movable in these programs,
as if they were floating tool bars, or something like the Task Bar on the
Desktop. Sighted users don't move them to the bottom or the sides of the
screen, or turn them sideways, and so forth. So there's some other reason
you're finding your jaws focus skipping around.

I hope you get this straightened out. It sounds really frustrating.

Subject: MS Word Menu Problem

Hi,

Somehow my MS Office menu bar has gotten moved to the bottom of the screen.
It affects Word and Outlook. In Outlook when I try to reply to a message I
can't access the subject field. I end up in some sort of help search
window.

Please, can someone tell me what I did to get things so messed up!

Ralph
