I'm sure distance has nothing at all to do with it, but the thread was
obviously a lot of fun for people, with everyone able to chime in and mention
which area of the country they live in. It was cute. Meantime, here in Los
Angeles, I'm still waiting, although someone else on the list who says she's in
Southern California, also, got hers a couple of days ago. Go figure.

Nine came on Tuesday and I'm in the Twin Cities, so I don't think distance
matters, either. I haven't installed them yet, I'm monitoring to see what the
list thinks and how many problems there seem to be.

Just thought it might be helpful to suggest that what makes delivery go more
quickly for one Jaws user or another is likely to be a processing schedule of
shipment, as done by the third party firm that does the mailing. If it has to
do with geography, it's only that they're arranging the outflow according to
region or something, and who could possibly know? But it doesn't have to do
with distance, as if it were in some wilderness and it took the pony express a
few days longer to get to Ohio than to Tennessee from Florida. Once something
gets into the postal system, it goes out according only to the postage rate
class being used and that's that. Cross country is by plane, so I'm not
thinking it's late getting to me because I'm all the way over in Los Angeles,
and it's being sent from Florida.
I think some people may be actually imagining this, that's all. Just a note
of reality. Talk about a goofy thread. :-)

Hmmm. I'm beginning to think I am the only one who has not received her
Jaws package, yet.
