Set JAWS to start automatically when Windows starts. This way, you will have speech while filling in the User ID and password on the login screen. When the desktop appears, the other user can turn off JAWS. There are 2 users and we each have a password. I am the only one using Jaws as he turns it off when logged on. When we go to the login screen to switch members, if I want to get on, there is no speech whatsoever and I have no way to tell where I am. Even when you use the keystroke to bring it back, it won't work. I have to have someone place the cursor on my password and then type it in. Then I have to turn Jaws on again. Is this supposed to be this way or can it be changed? I have a Dell Demension310 and Windows XP Home Edition with Jaws 6.0. Thank you for anything you can come up with to solve this problem.
