While in the program, press insert-f1-f1. This should put you into the JAWS help for Access. Included are any settings the JFW folk think will help, as well as a link to the JAWS keys for reading Access. Seems to me control-shift-d tells you table attributes, but it's been a while since I used Access so that may have changed.

Which one is giving you the problem, 2003 or 2007? Sounds like you've hit the same blank wall I did with 2007. I never used 2003, certainly not at home, but I found 2007 a washout with JAWS 11. As I stated earlier on this list, I had to totally uninstall 11 and repair 10 to resolve the problem, which suggests the damage occurs somewhere in the shared files.TedFrom: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of MearedSent: Monday, June 07, 2010 11:48 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Jaws & MS Access Query features Hi, All,In my Application Software course, I've to use MS access's Query features. In the query window, Jaws doesn't read the attributes of the selected table and doesn't announce the Field, Criteria and other highlighted items. I tried to create Append, Delete and other queries as well. However, I had no much luck with out a sited reader help. Am I missing any configuration to make jaws more functional? Are there Keyboard shortcuts?I'm using Windows XP pro, Jaws 11 pro, MS Access 2003/2007. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you. Reta
