I'll be interested in anything you find out. When consulting the Popular applications help section, I discovered that many of the old JAWS keys no longer work in 11. If you can't do something as simple as read a field in Table mode, you're in big trouble. Incidentally, what brand hardware do you use? That's another of my pet theories. HJ tells me it has no trouble with Access, and I wonder if it's not a hardware incompatibility--perhaps a BIOS problem peculiar to a brand or brands. I use HP. It could even be certain video cards. Our IT guy swapped out a card for me a couple of weeks ago, and there have been certain notable performance differences with the new card and drivers. This should put you into the JAWS help for Access. Included are any settings the JFW folk think will help, as well as a link to the JAWS keys for reading Access. Seems to me control-shift-d tells you table attributes, but it's been a while since I used Access so that may have changed. Good luck!
