hi. One slight thing, I believe the last supported version of msn messenger that you can use with JAWS 5.0 or 5.1 is msn messenger 6.0. It's available out there, but I don't know if you can still actually use it. To upgrade to a later version of msn, or windows live messenger as it's now known, you'll either need to use another screenreader, or upgrade to JAWS 7 or 8.

This works with the Microsoft pass port system which is the same system being used by msn messenger or windows live messenger. Skype should work fine with jaws 5.0 all versions.
