Just press insert (or the jaws key, it depends on your keyboard setup) and at the same time Z. That will kill the quickkeys function or the virtual cursor. Whch all intense and purposes is the same.

Hey all,I was writing an e-mail to a buddy of mine when all of a sudden JAWS decided I was trying to use quick navigation keys and I couldn't continue composing my message, which, needless to say, was a major pain in the posterior. , to put it nicely. The only way I could resume writing my message was to kill JAWS and restart it. Any ideas about why that happened and how to prevent it from happening again? On this machine, I'm using XP Pro, JAWS 11.1461 and Outlook Express. I'm not absolutely certain, but I may have seen this behavior on my work machine running XP Pro and MS Outlook 2010, too.Thanks.
