There is two boxes, you need to be typing on the first box. And Jaws sometimes has major Lag. I would love it if there was a way to eliminate me from waiting so long!... The problem with using another client is I can't pretend to be looking at pictures while I'm chatting! :P And I think your friend can tern off chat, and if you have their little box up from a previous chat you can chat with them even if no one else can see they're on. I think... I type and type and type and I press enter and press enter and yet, no text is typed and no message is send. Frankly, I will stay with instant bird and windows live messenger 2011. It is a multi protocal chat program. You can configure multiple chat programs to work withit... that including the facebook chat. You can also try windows life messenger 2011. Those are the two most accessible ways I can suggest with jaws.
