There is two boxes, you need to be typing on the first box. And Jaws sometimes
has major Lag.
I would love it if there was a way to eliminate me from waiting so long!...
The problem with using another client is I can't pretend to be looking at
pictures while I'm chatting! :P
And I think your friend can tern off chat, and if you have their little box up
from a previous chat you can chat with them even if no one else can see they're
on.
I think...
Thanks,

You know, 9 out of 10 times, that doesn't work for me. I type and type and type
and I press enter and press enter and yet, no text is typed and no message is
send. Frankly, I will stay with instant bird and windows live messenger 2011.

hey it is very simple.
when you open up facebook you will arrow down a few lines and find the chat
button.
hit either enter or spacebar on this.
a list of people will come below that that are available to chat.
press either enter or spacebar on the person you want to chat to.
you will be put direct into the chat edit box.
type your message and press enter.
your message is sent
when you recieve a message back 9 times out of 10 you will hear a sound so you
know you have a message.
the other 1 time no sound will be heard and in that instance you will need to
keep refreshing the page with f5 and going to the top of the page and arrowing
down to see if ther has been a message sent.
hth.

My suggestion is to download instantbird. It is a multi protocal chat program.
You can configure multiple chat programs to work withit... that including the
facebook chat. You can also try windows life messenger 2011. Those are the two
most accessible ways I can suggest with jaws.

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if you guys use the chat feature on the facebook.com web page.

If so, how does it work and how can I get it working right with JAWS?

Jim
