I don't know what it is and I really don't care to find out. I have yet to receive inappropriate application notifications in my system tray, but as you recognize and other listers have warned, it's always a possibility to guard against. One red herring was the Adobe suggestion. Just the other day, I got an Adobe update alert, and it didn't come in the form you describe. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Smart Eze Sent: Saturday, October 09, 2010 1:08 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: IDS_TITLE_READY_TO_INSTALL on the System Tray High All, I have recently been receiving the following message in my System Tray on the Desktop: IDS_TITLE_READY_TO_INSTALL. I hesitated but did click the button to install, yesterday for instance. But today it appeared again. Please, can someone explain to me what this is all about. I have no idea at all. I am running JAWS11, MS Security Essentials on an XP Home computer. Thanks a lot for your help. Regards, Smart
