From your in box go to tools, options, mail setup tab, and tab to the send /
receive button and hit enter, then tab until you hear automatic        send
/ receive and put a check in that box and tab and set the minutes between
automatic send / receive.  Then tab to ok and hit enter

When I don't get new emails coming to my outlook when I have it open and
waiting . So what I do is close it every 15 minutes or so then the new
emails appers.
