I've found jaws exhibits that behavior both under IE and firefox. What you're doing is about all you can do. Sometimes doing a page refresh also fixes the problem. By default firefox displays new pages in new tabs. You can use controll+tab to switch between them. I mention this because sometimes I think jaws gets confused as to what it should read. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christopher Hallsworth" <chrishallsworth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Subject: Hi

Hi all, I've just joined this list. I am using JAWS 8.0 demo, and I love
it! One thing though. Now and again when I browse the web with Mozilla
Firefox JAWS tells me the correct number of links and stuff on the page
but nothing actually appears in the virtual PC cursor unless I tab or do
a screen refresh. Otherwise it seems a very stable version, which is
much better than previous versions I've tried! Anyway I look forward to
contributing to this list.
