Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought this list was not meant for forwards that did not pertain to JAWS? Did I miss something? If I am wrong I will admit to it. Don't get me wrong. Forwards have their place in this world, as does most everything else. However, unless the administrator(s) of this list have decided to allow forwards of a non-JAWS nature to be submitted, I sincerely doubt this is the proper forum to post such forwards. While yes this is a forward that I have seen circulate the net in recent months, and while I also question the validity of the story mentioned alledgedly being true, I think we all need to remember this is not the place to send them. If you want to send them off list to people that's one thing. I for one don't mind receiving forwards in my in box. I have a separate e-mail account that forwards and such are automatically sent to. But there might be others out there who don't wish to read things of a non-JAWS nature on what is specifically a JAWS list. And further still there may be those who don't wish to read forwards at all. Not everyone has cable connections, and from what I know of some of the dial-up or other services that are not high speed, some people may only have limited times in which they are able to access the internet/read their e-mail. This may also be true for those who use library computers or computers in schools. Several of these facilities are now resorting to placing monitoring software on their networks in order to ensure nothing inappropriate is viewed/. This is also true for some companies/state or governmental facilities/agencies. Maybe not all facilities are doing so, but I know for example there are universities and other state/governmental facilities here in the state of New York that have such software on their networks/machines. While I'm not trying to come down on anyone in particular, I hope that my advice is taken for just that, advice and not as criticism. Thanks in advance for reading this.
