There are several reasons why a external synth would be wanted.
1) I am a computer science mager at Texas A & M and am needing all of =
my
cps cycles to go for compilation of programs. Having an external synth =

read of the burden of making the computer talk. It is the same concept =

why have a video card instead of making the software do it itself.

Ok, just curious here but why do you need a stand alone synth, when jfw
comes through your computer speakers with no problem/
