Hello everyone:

I am using Excel 2003.

I want to create a spreadsheet with four columns.

The first column will contain text data, while the other three columns will
contain numerical data.

My problem is that the default number of characters in a cell is nine, as
far as I know.

I need to expand the first cell of the first column in the table, so that it
can take up to 20 characters of data, for example.

Either I have overlooked or missed something but I cannot seem to be able to
achieve what I want.

Any suggestions will be most welcome.

Sincerely:

Dave Durber
