Cathy,
Press Alt to move to the menu bar, and then keep pressing Control + Tab
to reach the drawing toolbar.
The toolbars don't usually have titles, so it can be difficult to
recognise which is which. The standard and formatting toolbars are on by
default; the standard toolbar has a new button at the start of it, while
the formatting toolbar has a font combo box. The drawing toolbar starts
with the draw button menu.
