Hi Kim,

I don't think that the emoticons menu is accessible, but here's an article on
them that includes the keystrokes for creating them manually:

Hi David,

You win my favorite person of the day award. Thank you, thank you! I've
been frustrated to no end with this issue, and I so very much appreciate you
giving me the solution! I kept expecting it to autocomplete in the same way
that OE does (which I prefer), but at least now I have a tangible fix for the
issue. I so appreciate your help.

I have one other question concerning Windows Live Mail that you may or may not
be able to answer for me. Is there any way to fully access the emoticons menu,
or, if not, is there somewhere online where I can find a complete list of key
commands with which to create them manually?

Much thanks and gratitude!

Kim
