Well, Rose, it's easy to turn on and off, so, when or if I want it, I
can activate it, then get it back out of my way. Thanks again.

Actually, the clipboard in Word 2007 is usable with Jaws, it is sort of
convenient at times because you can have more than one item saved to it
and retrieve them easily if you have phrases you want to use over and
over again. I won't presume to give a tutorial on it because we cannot
use it at work due to the backbone program, so my experience is mostly
from a class I took and occasional use at home.

Darla,

Thanks! Just learned something new an useful. There are a lot of options
to the clipboard that I never knew about. For whatever reason, I never
had the clipboard showing in MS-Word 2007, so I thought it was just a
matter of docking the toolbars.

Again, thanks.

Dave

Here's the long way from within Word.

While on the Clipboard pane, Tab to the Options button.

        Press Enter.

Arrow or Tab until you get to the line for Show Office Clipboard
Automatically.

If there is a checkmark in front uv that line, press Enter.
That takes the checkmark off.

Press the Esc key twice to get out uv the Clipboard Pane.

To close the Clipboard Pane, Press Alt+H, then F, then O.

        Hope this helps.

Anyone know how to get rid of this darn thing, so it won't pop
up by default? It's not terribly JAWS friendly, and I'm tired of
working around it.
