Yes, Insert+v to open the JAWS dialog from within Word. look for "
Floating toolbars dock on for next time
" and make sure it's set to "on".
That should do it.

Anyone know how to get rid of this darn thing, so it won't pop up by default?
It's not terribly JAWS friendly, and I'm tired of working around it.
