I think that got it. I may have implemented that fix at home, but, if I
did, it's been a while.

Here's the long way from within Word.

 

While on the Clipboard pane, Tab to the Options button.

Press Enter.

Arrow or Tab until you get to the line for Show Office Clipboard
Automatically.

If there is a checkmark in front uv that line, press Enter.  That takes
the checkmark off.

Press the Esc key twice to get out uv the Clipboard Pane.

To close the Clipboard Pane, Press Alt+H, then F, then O.

Anyone know how to get rid of this darn thing, so it won't pop up by
default?  It's not terribly JAWS friendly, and I'm tired of working
around it.
