I cringe to hear this. We're supposed to be switching to Citrix in the near
future. Does Firebox do essentially the same thing?

I'm not using Citrix any longer. We now use something called FireBox, which
is installed on my laptop. It is utterly fantastic.
To use Citrix, JAWS has to be installed both locally and at the Citrix
server. There is specific documentation, but even then it can be tricky.
I was, at one time, pretty chummy with technical support at Freedom
Scientific (escalation level) when I was running JAWS and Citrix. I kept
losing the authorization at the remote installation. Freedom Scientific
really is pretty good. If you tell them you are attempting to connect
remotely using Citrix, most of the technical support people will send you to
escalation pretty fast.

Hi,
We are trying to get JAWS 12.0 to work with either Citrix or Checkpoint VPN
for a remote transcriptionist.
Neither will work- when we launch a session Jaws does not read any of the
screen.
Does anyone have experience with setting up Jaws with Citrix or Checkpoint
VPN?
