Re: Avast 5.0 and JAWS

No it's not accessible and someone on one of the lists has contacted Avast and been told to use v4.8 until it's resolved. They do say they are working on it.
Mine does seem to be doing automatic updates though and uses a female voice instead of the previous male voice.

Hello!
I recently had to upgrade to Avast 5 from 4.0 because the earlier version is not supported. This version seems inaccessible. Does anyone know a way around this. Also, it is not updating the virus database automatically, nor announcing the updates it does do. Would appreciate help.
