Dear list;
Here is a temporary solution for you guys who would like to get the key of
jaws backed up to a temporary location and then you can reinstall jaws again
without any problems;
1st go to the folder C:\Program Files\Freedom Scientific
Then go to the folder Activator
Then unhidden all the dlls files by going to the toold and option;
Show hidden files, folders, and drives-ON
Then it will show the following dll files
FSSHELL32.dll
FSSHELLEXT.dll
Then you can backup the intire of Activator folder to sa save location ie
Flash pen
Then you can reinstall jaws and then based that folder in the C:\Program
Files\Freedom Scientific
Replacing the activator folder
Hope this help;

Hmmm. It is at these times that they need to be reminded that GW Micro does
not have any specifications about how many computers you can put their
software on and you are not constantly pestered into reauthorizing your
screen reader. My experience has been that Freedom Scientific is good at
designing products to generate a reauthorization hades.

        sometimes when you call them and ask for a reset, they get all
suspecious about your key an why you need a reset though or may not even
give it

                unfortunately they don't do that anymore, simply call or
Email them when your out of keys

                seems strange, but it gives them the feeling of control
so...

                        I have to bring my computer to be worked on again!
I wanted to know if there is a way to put the jaws key back on the server!
They might have to redo my windows and I don't want to lose the key! Thanks
Heather
