Hi, someone recommended Avast (and it's not me this time), but they didn't
include the website. It's www.avast.com. You need the free Home Edition, not
the paid-for Professional Edition. Hope that helps.

Hi Listers:

I was using AVG 7.5 with windows 2000. AVG 7.5 has been replaced with AVG
8 and there are issues with AVG 8 and Windows 2000 so I'm looking for
other anti-virus software that will work with Jaws 9
build 2169.

Has anyone tried avira?

what other software packages (paid or free) will work with windows 2000
and Jaws? Please include websites along with names of software packages.

thanks very much for your help!
