Hi Paul, Depending on which version of Lotus Notes you are dealing with, I can help you. I have version 6.5.4, and I remember that you can right click the status line, which is where I think these messages are coming from, and turn off that part of the display. If you have Version 7or higher, I don't know if at is the same or not. Thanks.
