Hi Jon, These problems may occur from an out-of-date display driver, in which case you may need to download and install the latest one from Via's website. The dual display drivers is also an important one. Some display adapters come with two installed for dual monitor usage. For clarity, you should go to Control Panel, System, Hardware tab, Device Manager, and check Display Adapters. If there is more than one device listed under here, press Enter on the second one and change Device Usage to "Do not use". If not, try this process I usually use to refresh the video intercept chain. 1. Go to Start, then Run. Type in "regedit" and press Enter. 2. On the tree view, open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Underneath this, open SYSTEM, then CurrentControlSet, Control, DisplayChaining. 3. On DisplayChaining, press the Delete key, and then Yes on the confirmation dialog. Close the Registry Editor. 4. Open Control Panel from the Start Menu, and select System. Go to the Hardware tab and press the Device Manager button. Open Display Adapters and delete the items inside it with the Delete key. 5. Restart your computer. Your graphics card drivers should then re-install. Follow the on-screen instructions. 6. Restart your computer again. Go to Start, then Run. Click Browse. Go to C:, then Program Files, then Freedom Scientific, then JAWS, then the version you are running (eg "7.0"). Open "setjv.exe" and click on OK. If you have any other problems with JAWS please don't hesistate to email us or give us a call. I have installed a newly purchased version of Jaws 7.10 which I have upgraded to V7.10.500U. I am getting persistent calls on reload to install Video Intercept Manager. I do, and it says it has installed and will not reboot. I have checked the Freedom Scientific Knowledge base and followed the recommendations, i.e. check for dual display drivers - I have only one installed to my knowledge; Try uninstalling and reinstalling - I have several times; download the latest upgrade - I have done. I have sent various emails to FS support in the US and Europe and had no replies.
