Hello Mujtaba,

Many thanks for your reply, with the link.

2010 is in fact my first venture into the ribbon system, having moved up
from Office, where the menus were displayed in the original format, as File,
Edit, etc.

The site is not quite what I was looking for, I'm afraid. I see under "line
spacing" it shows "single line spacing, Control+1" etc, and I am very
familiar with these keys, but I was really looking for a list that would
contain the ribbon shortcuts, such as Alt+HK for line spacing.

By the way, I should have said in my post:

"many others, like me", rather than "I, like many others"!

Simply a case of not properly checking what I'd written before sending!

With very best wishes,

Keith

Dear Keith,

I don't have ready on hand instructions to help you. Most of the keyboard
shortcut keys for word and all other Microsoft Office applications are still
the same as in Office 2003. If you still remember them you can use them with
2010 too. Below is a link to a site that will help you better in case you
need a refresher. Look under the heading on the page that reads: Quick
reference for Microsoft Word

Subject: [jaws-uk] Ribbon shortcut keys in Word 2010

I am using:

Jaws 14

Office 2010

Windows XP Home

Hello all,

I suspect that I, like many others, find the ribbon in MS Office programs
totally baffling.

I am now retired, and wish to use Word and the like for fairly simple tasks.

I don't wish to access the ribbon in the Jaws configuration.

What I would like, please, is a complete list of Word 2010 ribbon hotkeys
(such as Alt+HK for line spacing).

I know I could go right through all the myriad ribbon options and make a
note of the hotkeys, but I was wondering if anyone had such a list they
could either let me have, or knew where I could find one.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

With best wishes,

Keith.
