Hi there Folks,
when your in add remove programs you have to insert your windows cd in the
drive and then press alt W, in this list you'll find windows messenger so
you can remove it, it's a windows installed program so you have to look for
the windows setup to take it out of there, I haven't done it because it's a
piece of windows xp software and comes installed in the system
Regards
Chris Cant.
Hi, don't see anything in add remove for Windows Messenger, but the e x e file is in: C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe Note that some of the characters are uppercase! Wonder if the file was deleted is this enough to get rid of the messenger? For some reason this infernal thing has appeared and I can find no way of getting rid of it. How do you uninstall it or otherwise emasculate it, please?
