Hi Chris, suppose the next best thing is just don't allow it to start? A checkbox in the messenger itself and another in outlook express. I always use mine just when I want to. Hi there Folks, when your in add remove programs you have to insert your windows cd in the drive and then press alt W, in this list you'll find windows messenger so you can remove it, it's a windows installed program so you have to look for the windows setup to take it out of there, I haven't done it because it's a piece of windows xp software and comes installed in the system Regards
