Hi Dorathy,

Energis are the Internet supplier - they actually supply connectivity to
a number of companies/providers etc, Wanadoo/Freeserve being one of
them. Wanadoo should _not_ be telling you to contact Energis, as they
fully know that Energis don't usually deal direct with consumers - only
to the larger company, i.e, Wanadoo. Having said this, Wanadoo now
operate their own mail system, not using Energis any more for this
aspect.

If you are continuing to have this problem, I would seriously think of
moving elsewhere - I recently moved a friend to Plusnet, where you have
a person on the end of a 0845 number who is very helpful, plus control
over a lot of account aspects through the website. Another friend who I
am trying to help is still actually trying to get a connection to
Wanadoo, and is being moved from BT to the ISP to BT again, with no joy.
The line works, and they get access to the BT test system, but no
further. This has been going on for over 2 months now, and they are
drawing up a complaint with Wanadoo on this matter.

In another message you asked which antivirus package I recommended, I
would go with AVG every time! I find that Norton just slows the machine
down a lot, and is a lot of money for what you get.

AVG is free for a single user - even if they have a network with two
computers - i.e, a desktop and a laptop, it can go on both of them for
free, whereas with Norton, technically you have to pay for two machines.

I have Norton currently on a new laptop which is on a 3 month trial, I
will be removing it at the end of this month and going back with AVG.

Thanks.
Andrew.

assistant of freeserve./wannadoo. Its Energis going over the top

I have tried to explain that you are stopping little family circle
letters
which are small and calling them
Executables. You make it impossible for me to sometimes read the content
and
send then on. You mention a refund but instead you have debited my
account.
Can you confirm I will not be tied to a one year agreement as you have
altered the terms you offered to me in March. If compression is what is
is
about yuou should telll us and offer to release us.
Please reply and explain why even a snapshot of my mother is not allowed
out
it is not large???
Dorothy
PS I main a mail box full of returns by your automated system. I was
told
to go to Energis because it is "their restrictions causing the problem"
if
your own help people know it is a problem then you should surely.
