Hi Francis, hi George, I didn't see a reply to this. Text Bridge is available in most good computer ships, or on the Internet. As regards configuration, that's pretty much taken care of when you install it. I have a good scanning programme with the printer but I think it scans images rather than text e.g a cd inlay won't be read at all
