Hi OK, have now had a chance to check this out, and the option is there I am glad to say. So go into the bookmark manager, select the option entitled bookmark reading options within internet explorer or firefox, and press sspace bar until it says activate element. -----Original Message----- From: j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Luis Eduardo Peña Sent: Tuesday, 8 December 2009 3:20 PM To: j-tools@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-tools] Re: V3 install with JFW 11 Yes, I meant activate element, but I can't find it. Could you please help me? Finally, it would be nice if in the next release of J-Tools you could incorporate the nice features of J-Tools present in the Outlook 2007 mail client to Windows Life Mail. Some people don't have MS Office and some others like me prefer to use WLM. Please also keep in mind the switch languages on the fly feature. I think users of Jaws 11 would appreciate this feature since now it is more difficult to switch languages than it used to be with previous versions of Jaws. In my opinion the creation of Jaws profiles is complicated for novis users of Jaws. But let's not upset Eric with this comment since he was so excited about it.Smile. Thanks again for your quick response to my questions. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian Hartgen" <Brian.Hartgen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <j-tools@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, December 08, 2009 10:09 AM Subject: [j-tools] Re: V3 install with JFW 11 Hi Thanks for your message. Yes certainly, we want to make the calendar week view work, in fact, I really want to rewrite the entire calendar support completely. Its just a matter of finding the time, but yes, its on the list of things to do. I don't actually know what you mean by the activate bookmark facility. Do you mean activate element? That should be there. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Luis Eduardo Peña Sent: Tuesday, 8 December 2009 2:33 PM To: j-tools@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-tools] Re: V3 install with JFW 11 Hi Brian, A couple of questions about this new version of J-Tools: First, it is my impression that the activate bookmark function present in version 2 is not present in version 3. Am I right? As you might recall I mentioned to you that in my case this feature didn't work very reliably in version 2. 2. Does this version support the calendar week view? If not, I wonder if you are considering to add support for this view in a future release. Another possibility is to add a hotkey that would disable temporarily the J-Tools functionality from the calendar. Unfortunately, My job requires me to have the calendar in week view and because J-Tools is not compatible with this view I have to use another version of Jaws where J-Tools is not installed. Needless to say that this is very anoying. I would greatly appreciate it if you could do something about it. This is the only limitation that I find using J-Tools, but I realize that it is not your fault but rather the fact that it doesn't fulfill my particular needs in this case. Once again thank you for making this new version available that supports Jaws 11. I look forward to see new features added to this great program. Having spoken to my colleague who produces the installer, it would appear for various technical reasons that it is not possible for one program to sit alongside another on the same machine. Hopefully there will be a resolution at the end of the week, or I can work with you quite easily off list and give you an installer which I will create which will work. OK cosmetically it won't be the correct installer, but if we can't see, I don't suppose it matters? If you would like me to help you with that please let me know. -----Original Message----- From: j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Scott Marshall Sent: Monday, 7 December 2009 2:03 PM To: j-tools@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-tools] V3 install with JFW 11 Hi: I am running windows xp with both JFW 10 and JFW 11 on this 32 bit machine. J-tools v2 is working nicely with JFW 10. With JFW 11 running, I tried to install j-tools v3 for use with JFW 11 and received an error message saying that the program was already running and that I should delete it before continuing. I would like to use j-tools with both versions of JAWS. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
