I not only echo Scott's comments about using a digital converter, but also
recommend that you consider using a microphone known for fairly good noise
canceling properties... particularly if you are listening to Jaws output on
speakers instead of through a headset. -ed.

The headset that comes with dragon is ok, but if you get a digit USB
converter that is the best solution as it can connect to a USB port of your
computer and you connect the input of the headset to that and the output to
your computers soundcard.
I get fantastic results using this method.

Hello all,

Is it satisfactory in users opinions to use the headset that ships with
Dragon Nat Speak 9 or should another headset be acquired? I completed
the Dragon Nat Speak initial training and got caught in the "training is
about to begin" sentence which the system would not seem to recognize. I
cancelled out a number of times but still got stuck at the second
sentence! Eventually I started another user profile and the program was
able to move beyond the second sentence after the third time. I simply
deleted the original user profile after the initial training was
completed. There was no problem with the actual initial train segment
and that was with someone "whisper prompting " me the train as I don't
yet have J-Say.

Many thanks for help and clarification already provided.

Sharon B.
