Hi Garry, Hmm this looks like a bad J-Say install since a script error would mean that the relevant scripts have not been installed or have been deleted. I wish we could decompile jaws scripts to check in these situations though an accessible hex editor would do. Easy answer, export your vocabulary and any custom commands and then do a J-Say repair. I did that. Now when I issue a speak line command, I get a script error. I tried a 2nd profile to see if I did something wrong in the creation of the first. I get the same result. I think we have a bug. You will need to change modes to manage commands I think. Sorry, I don't have DNS running. Try keystrokes from alt+1 to alt+3 to change modes. Once you are in the manage commands mode, you hit ctrl+I for import. You get a standard windows file open dialog. Brows to the latest j-say.dat file you have and import that. Select all commands when you are asked and continue. -----Original Message----- From: j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gary Wunder Sent: Saturday, February 16, 2013 11:53 PM To: j-say@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-say list] Re: Profile problem I have no idea how to do that. I do see a j-say.dat file dated March of 2012 as well as older ones, but the only import I see is for a profile. -----Original Message----- From: j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pranav Lal Sent: Saturday, February 16, 2013 9:09 AM To: j-say@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-say list] Re: Profile problem Hi Garry, Try impporting the j-say commands again by importing the j-say.dat file.
