Dear all,Thanks for all the -useful- suggestions. I will look them all up and try them. About the comments using Outlook (I liked the comments :-) anyway but, as Ike wrote, the integration of the database management is better and Firefox as well as Explorer are many times ''more up to date'' with latest Internet developments. And, our Dutch multi user accounting sofware uses the PC network.
Just to be ''extra compatible'' I bought Xara and later on Xara Xtreme which I find both less ''nice'' than Artworks. But Adobe's Acrobat is a fantastic piece of software and many files I convert with RiScript are improved with it... To avoid using what we used to call an ''Adidas network'' I liked to know of possibilities to see the RISC OS hardware from my PC.
Don't get me wrong, I've been selling Acorn products since 1982 and was the Acorn distributor for Holland from 1987 to 1989 and from 1993 until it all ended. I'm back to my old trade now -but at least with products that came originally from Cambridge :-) -see my website.

Any RISC OS email program is more than capable of sending a PDF file. Even if you did need to use the PC, there is no excuse for using the abortion that is Outlook when Gemini (Messenger Pro for Windows and Mac) is available.Well I can imagine some, like integration of the Outlook address database with the clients-list in your book-keeping software or/and customer relations software, which just aren't available for RISC OS. I too use RISC OS for most of my bussiness task, but for some tasks I really do have to revert to Windows, which I don' t regret at all; use the tool most fitted I would suggest. But RISC OS has no Mindmapping software, no integrated bussiness administration software and so on... BTW I might be off topic here Cheers Ike De postmaster van feniks.demon.nl mailto:postmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/iyonix-support Other info via //www.freelists.org/webpage/iyonix-support
