I have noticed Firewall Sessions staying active even after closing the
application on the client PC that used the Firewall Client to gain
access outwards. I had to manually close it. I know this may not sound
like much help, but perhaps it may be something to look into?

Subject: [isalist] Dial Up Problem + ISA

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hello

I have an ISA Server running in Integrated mode. On the same server we
also
use Exchange 2000 to handle e-mail.

I use a dial up connection over ISDN for web access via ISA and also for
e-mail send and retrieval.

The problem is as follows:

When the Exchange Server dials out to send and retrieve e-mail, it does
this
fine. The line stays connected and then something is sending and
receiving
data continuously. I managed to stop it (i.e. disconnecting the line)
by
stopping the Web proxy service.

I thought it may have been something to do with caching in ISA Server,
so I
disabled ALL caching... but the problem is still there.

Obviously, I need to cure this problem as my client is receiving large
phone
bills...!

Below is a snippet from the logs of what I believe is causing the
problem:

Any help MOST GREATFULLY received...
