Now that we have that out of the way, I'll answer your question. Pay
attention - you might learn how to better address issues and
troubleshoot problems. This will also illustrate how the thread we
were on, that being the way the clients are authenticating to the
domain, is not only relevant, but how we can't go on helping the OP
until they are answered. Note that when I say "we" I mean the people
who have actually posted questions trying to help.

5 tells us nothing at all. If it tells you something, then why
haven't you posted the solution? The reason it tells us nothing is
because we don't necessarily know WHO is having a problem accessing
WHAT resource.
He's saying (maybe) that outside clients are accessing his VPN
server. But when they do, they can't access resources on "the
domain." We don't know what "the domain" means. Is that his domain,
or the local domain they were already on? Where is 192.168.x.x? Is
that their local network, or his remote network? What if both
networks use the same subnet? What is the masking like? What
credentials are being used to access the network share once the auth
window comes up?
The remote VPN and logon settings, PARTICULARLY if using cached
credential on a local domain but VPN'ing into another network are
absolutely relevant at this point.
Any "help" you are now going to give Joel will be wasted until we
find out some more answers.
