That is interesting, and the symptom just happens if you leave the cache configuration defaults? -----Original Message----- From: Horn, Phillip - Technician [mailto:phorn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2001 8:36 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Cache dies with Sp2 http://www.ISAserver.org Well, the IDE is partitioned into an 8GB drive with NT installed and a 23GB drive with the cache file. I've tried different sizes, but this one is currently set at 100MB .. The cache is located on drive E. (C drive is a utility partition). -----Original Message----- From: David Dellanno [mailto:david@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2001 8:33 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Cache dies with Sp2 http://www.ISAserver.org How big is the IDE partition?, where is the cache located, and how big did you set the size of the cahce? -----Original Message----- From: Horn, Phillip - Technician [mailto:phorn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2001 8:25 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Cache dies with Sp2 http://www.ISAserver.org Two servers have 1 physical IDE drive partitioned into two drives. The other 2 servers have 4 9Gig SCSI drives (Dell PowerEdge systems). 3 have Winnt on C drive, one has NT on D drive. I've got 4 different ISA Servers that I admin, and I'm having a cache issue. Every time I install Windows 2000 SP2 on a server, my Cache file gets corrupted and can not be recovered. There have even been a couple of times when the Pagefile was destroyed. Anyone else have this problem? What's going on here?
