Jim,
Thanks for the reply. I figured out the problem just before got your reply.
Automic clock sync 2.2 for some reason tries to pickup the proxy
configuration from the web browser configuration. If I configure the browser
to use a proxy, and configure the Atomic 2.2 to connect directly without
using a proxy (using firewall client), the sync fails. My logs show the
atomic.exe is trying an anonymous connection and gets 407. If I disable the
proxy server in browser atomic 2.2 works just fine. However atomic 2.5 does
not have this problem. I just downloaded 2.5, and it works fine even if the
browser if configured for proxy.
Thanks again for your reply, I appreciate your help.

Raj

1. the client has to be a secureNAT or FW client
2. create a protocol rule that allows Daytime (TCP) and / or Daytime (UDP)
protocols
3. make sure the LAT host can resolve the name of the time source server or
use the IP

List members,

I am trying to get the Atomic clock sync working in my clients through ISA.
I have opened port 13 in firewall in outbound direction. I have a packet
filter that allows port 13 in both TCP and UDP in both directions in my ISA
server. The client is running firewall client. When I try to ping the time
server using the atomic sync utility, I get an error which says port 13 is
not accessible.

Can anyone help me

Thanks.

Raj
