Terry,

My impression is that if people are 'kept informed', 'in the loop', etc. they would be quite happy with things. it's much easier for this to happen if everybody has an Internet connection. And if possible, er, Twitter. perhaps you should change the number of editions to state, "four to six issues per year, sometimes more".

Hello Flor.
This is a very interesting question and one which currently I don't know the answer to. Also though I like the idea of perhaps using a short podcast to keep people informed etc.
Thanks for your contribution to this interesting feedback thread!

Hi,

Are the people who complain about the relative infrequency of InfoTech
CD subscribers, download subscribers, or a mix of both? Might it be
possible to do a sort-of monthly podcast, which could be from 20 to 45
minutes in length, of T&T news, progress reports, planned articles,
feedback from this list and on Twitter, what y'all are up to - on your
legend broadcasts, etc. This might be a way of plugging the percieved
time lapse between full editions of the magazine. I agree with those
who favour the current in-depth nature and approach of the articles and
reviews, and the understandable length of time involved in doing prior
research for such items.

Hi

I have to endorse the opinions raised by most of our list members. As
long
as we are guaranteed a minimum number of hours per year, and that is
made
clear when subscribing, I see no problem with sending out content as
and
when it is available.

I do however understand that subscribers may feel they are being
short-changed if they have not had an edition of Infotech for a few
months.
It might be possible to keep subscribers better informed as to when
the next
magazine might be coming out. The easiest way to do this is to
encourage
everyone to subscribe to this list. Just one last point, would it be
possible for us to be kept better informed about the articles being
planned.

A full review of the Ipod touch might be a good idea for the future.
Also,
maybe an in depth article about what someone should keep in mind when
considering the purchase of a new pc. And what about netbooks. I'm
not
sure they have ever had a mention on Infotech. How the netbook can
co-exist
with a desktop or laptop, and how netbooks can be used with jaws or
window
eyes and the means of connecting the netbook to receive emails etc.

Just a few thoughts.

David

Hi
I think that at all costs Infotech should be playing to its strengths
and
these are the in depth reviews of software and equipment and the at
length
coverage of Sight Village. to weaken those strengths by issuing a
90-minute
monthly magazine would be unfortunate. I certainly wouldn't complain
about
having six issues a year at the current price.
