Terry,My impression is that if people are 'kept informed', 'in the loop', etc. they would be quite happy with things. it's much easier for this to happen if everybody has an Internet connection. And if possible, er, Twitter. perhaps you should change the number of editions to state, "four to six issues per year, sometimes more".

Hello Flor. This is a very interesting question and one which currently I don't know the answer to. Also though I like the idea of perhaps using a short podcast to keep people informed etc. Thanks for your contribution to this interesting feedback thread! Terry Clasper. Might it be possible to do a sort-of monthly podcast, which could be from 20 to 45 minutes in length, of T&T news, progress reports, planned articles, feedback from this list and on Twitter, what y'all are up to - on your legend broadcasts, etc. This might be a way of plugging the percieved time lapse between full editions of the magazine. I agree with thosewho favour the current in-depth nature and approach of the articles andreviews, and the understandable length of time involved in doing prior research for such items.----- Original Message ----- From: "Terry Clasper" <terry.clasper@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <infotech@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, December 20, 2009 8:21 PM Subject: [infotech] Re: Infotech FeedbackDavid thanks for your feedback all very valid and again I'll keep thisand ensure its taken care of moving forward. _____From: infotech-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:infotech-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of David Russell Sent: 20 December 2009 19:15 To: infotech@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [infotech] Re: Infotech Feedback HiI have to endorse the opinions raised by most of our list members. Aslong as we are guaranteed a minimum number of hours per year, and that is made clear when subscribing, I see no problem with sending out content as and when it is available. I do however understand that subscribers may feel they are being short-changed if they have not had an edition of Infotech for a few months. It might be possible to keep subscribers better informed as to when the next magazine might be coming out. The easiest way to do this is to encourage everyone to subscribe to this list. Just one last point, would it be possible for us to be kept better informed about the articles being planned. A full review of the Ipod touch might be a good idea for the future. Also, maybe an in depth article about what someone should keep in mind when considering the purchase of a new pc. And what about netbooks. I'm not sure they have ever had a mention on Infotech. How the netbook can co-exist with a desktop or laptop, and how netbooks can be used with jaws or window eyes and the means of connecting the netbook to receive emails etc. Just a few thoughts. I certainly wouldn't complain about having six issues a year at the current price.
